Could this mean that something new with be shown for Kh3 at The game awards?

Nothing has been specified as to why Nomura and Hashimoto are attending the event.

At this point, it's anybody's guess.

Nomura is attending the game awards and Hashimoto is attending the Playstation experience event.

They said the same thing yesterday at the UK event, where they showed the same thing. It's been massively bloody overblown anyway. It was about twenty seconds, only five of which was gameplay, which even then wasn't combat or something - it was just Sora in a room, walking over to an open window. Not exactly gonna set the world on fire.
