Surprised there wasn't a thread on this already.

Looks really good, especially considering it was made by one guy. I only fear it may suffer from being too extensively compared with FFXV.

I have to agree with most of the youtube comments on this video. This actually strongly feels way more Devil May Cry than it does FF XV. It only has subtle mechanics that are similar to FF XV, but it's not even close.

I doubt anyone will be upset over this having similarities to Devil May Cry, as long as those people can tell the difference between inspiration and a blatant rip off. After all God of War's battle mechanics were inspired from Devil May Cry, they just added giant boss scaling into the mix.

I mean, of course it's okay to compare them but I just wish everybody would stay reasonable with this. Unfortunately people are already going to the extremes and one side trashes this game for being a poor man's FFXV, while others use it as a way to trash FFXV.

On a bright side, SONY seens to have noticed his work and made contact with him, that´s pretty good.

We aren't getting FFXV-2 but at least we'll have this.
