The 7th Ark is an area in Final Fantasy XIII that was intended to be released as DLC. It would include new enemies, weapons and quests, but the team was forced to cut it due to quality concerns so late in the project and difficulties with extra content on PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360.

In last years PC port, an Alpha build of this area was discovered. You can take a couple looks at it below.

As you can see, it includes brand new cutscenes that were fully voiced in Japanese with subtitles fully translated into English as well as a superboss that would later be included as a story boss in Final Fantasy XIII-2 in a much less powerful state.

It's unlikely to happen, but would you like to see this area finished for a future PlayStation 4 & Xbox One version?

I'd be all for it. I could go for another challenge in that game. Tired of Neochu being the hardest boss in XIII lol.
A lot of the ground work for this already seems to be laid, so it doesn't seem entirely implausible?

Yeah, the fact the cutscenes are voiced and even subbed is impressive. Haha.
