The following timeline is made with all information that´s been available to the public in some form be it interviews or multimedia like Kingsglaive or Brotherhood, trailers, etc. This timeline will not contain any information that was provided by the "leaks" but it will still have spoilers for the FFXV universe.
The following is only stuff that is either revelant to the lore of Eos or the lifes of the important characters.

  1. Archaens/Astrals creates the world of Eos. (Hinted in Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae
Year 140(?)-130(?) BN
  1. Creation of the wall proctecting Lucis (?). (Ignis tells Noctis that Lucis has been able to enjoy peace the past 150 years thanks to said wall, it´s unknown how old they were in Brotherhood episode 4)
Year 80 BN
  1. Creation of the wall protecting Lucis (?). (A guard tells Nyx that the wall has been providing the Kingdom 100 years of peace, the events of Kingsglaive takes place on the same year Noctis is 20 years old)
Writer note: Here we have some conflicting information that I can´t wrap my head around :confused:.

Year 20(?)-10(?) BN
  1. Ignis says that the war with the Empire (Niflheim) ended 30 years ago. (Brotherhood Episode 4, their ages is unknown at that time)
Writer Notes: This might mean that during that timeframe until whenver the opening of Kingsglaive happens (somewhere in year 20 or perhaps years before) Niflheim never attacked Lucis.

Year 4 BN
  1. Lunafreya is born. (She´s 24 year old at the beginning of the game)
Year 3 BN
  1. Gladiolus is born. (He´s 23 years old at the beginning of the game)
Year 2 BN
  1. Ignis is born. (He´s 22 years old at the beginning of the game)
Year 0
  1. Noctis is born. (He´s 20 years old at the beginning of the game)
  2. Prompto is born. (He´s 20 years old at the beginning of the game)
Year 8 AN
  1. Noctis is hurt in an assault by a Marilith. (Brotherhood Episode 1)
  2. Noctis enters in a coma, he meets Carbuncle in a dream. (Platinum Demo: Final Fantasy XV)
  3. Noctis and Regis go to Tenebrate, the father seeks for help to heal his son. (Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV opening)
  4. Noctis and Luna meets for the first time(?). (Various trailers and promotional material)
  5. Niflheim invades Tenebrae, Queen and mother of Ravus and Lunafreya is killed by Glauca, the Kingdom remains under control of Niflheim.
Year 8(?)-20 AN
  1. Regis assembles a group of mighty warriors dubbed Kingsglaives.
  2. Prompto finds an injured Pryna and takes care it, Luna gives a letter to Prompto and he starts his life changing diet and training to be fit.
  3. Noctis forms friendship with Gladiolus
  4. Prompto finally forms friendship with Noctis at high school.
Writer notes: I worked under the assumption that the past events depited in Brotherhood took place after Noctis accident when he was 8 years old.

Year 20 AN
  1. The Kingsglaives fight the force of Niflheim to defend a land. (Kingsglaive Opening warfare)
3 days before the peace treaty signing
  1. Ardyn Izunia, chancellor of Niflheim, is sent to Insomnia to propose King Regis a peace treaty.
  2. Noctis and his friends leave Insomnia heading to Altissia(?).
2 days before the peace treaty signing
  1. Noctis and his friends leave Insomnia heading to Altissia(?).
  2. Crowe is sent to infiltrate in Tenebrae, she´s later (implied) to have been killed by Luch Lazarus.
  3. Iedolas, Ardy, Ravus, Luna and Niflheim diplomats arrive at Insomnia.
  4. Luna and Regis meet again for the first time in twelve years.
  5. Libertus leaves the Kingsglaive forces
Writer note: Drautos informs Nyx that the prince has been taken out of the citadel, he´s told this during the third day prior to the treaty signing. However, it´s unknow if Noctis left on the 4th day or the 3rd day prior to the event but regardless of that detail both dates work fine and don´t contradict anything.

The day before the peace treaty signing
  1. Party somewhere in Insomnia, Nyx, Luna, Drautos, Regis, Ardyn and Iedolas are present at the event.
  2. Libertus joins the resistance that´s plotting againts Regis and are helping Niflheim.
Day of the Peace Signing ceremony
  1. Lunafreya is taken out from Insomnia and imprisoned in a Niflheim airship.
  2. The Glaives go on a recue mission for Lunafreya.
  3. Niflheim double-crossing happens.
  4. Glaives betreyal happens.
  5. Glauca fight Regis and Clarus.
  6. Ravus burns his left arm after trying to get the power from the past Kings of Lucis via the Ring of the Lucii.
  7. Niflheim take Lucis crystal with them.
  8. Glauca kills Regis.
  9. Nyx borrows power from the past Kings
  10. Libertus helps Lunafreya escape from Insomnia
  11. Nyx fights Drautos/Glauca and Diamond Weapon with the aid of the "Knights of the Round".
The day after the Peace Signing Ceremony
  1. Nyx dies and Lunafreya walks away from Insomnia.
  2. Noctis and his friends discover that their homeland has being invaded. (FFXV Chapter 1 ending)
Chapter 2 of FFXV
  1. Noctis and friends meet Cor.
  2. Noctis starts collecting Phantom Swords for his Armiger (4?).
  3. Noctis and friends fight the Marilith that almost killed Noctis 12 years ago. (Brotherhood Episode 1 & 5)
  4. Noctis and friends head their way torwards Caem. (Brotherhood episode 1, 2, 3 and chapter 2 and part of chapter 3 of the game)
Chapter 3 of FFXV
  1. Noctis and friends reach Caem and meet Gladiolus sister, Iris.
  2. Noctis and friends meet Ardyn Izunia for the first time. (FFXV Chapter 3)
Chapter ?? of FFXV
  1. Noctis and friends fight the Archaen Titan (Trial of Titan)
  2. Noctis and friends arrive at Altissia. (Altissia walkthrought)
  3. Noctis is captured by Ardyn in a crystall (TGS 2016 trailer)
Year 30 AN
  1. Noctis and his friend fight Ifrit in Insomnia. (Chapter 0)
