My only complaint is that Nightmare mode doesn't remain that way throughout the game. the first boss and last boss are fairly difficult. The first few dragons can be touch, but as you get more dragon gear they each start to become easy to the point where later dragons can be fought 1 vs. 1 if need be.

that's a shame to hear, i'm playing on Hard mode at the moment; it's been challenging lately (Alexius is a bitch), it's my first DA game so i'm still in the learning process; any tips are appreciated lol

Are you using mainly melee characters on Alexius? If so, his teleporting is going to make it difficult for those characters to keep up. I'd make sure at least 2 of your characters are ranged.
