I've only got halfway through LR but it was one of the most bizarre games I've played. Like some weird drug-induced FF13 fan fiction.

if you thought the game was fan fiction-y then you made the right call in not playing it; the ending would have killed you.

The story imo is really lacking. The game did have a few really good side quests though such as the man who lost his journal that had his memories in it. The combat however is really fun. Also, while I understand the budget wasn't nearly as big as with the first XII title, I still felt like visually the game just didn't have enough love to it..if that makes any sense.
