I LOVE Final Fantasy XIV, it's my favorite FF game of all time. However, this is for Final Fantasy XV... so, let's try to keep that straight, yeah? I've deleted the posts, the trailer and discussion goes on over here for XIV.

I hope it shows some in depth versus development stuff and not just xv.
The book was announced as a preorder bonus in France some time ago and it sounds to me like it will focus only on the FFXV Universe.
Honestly I doubt there will be much new in there we don't know already.
They annouced it with this video message from Tabata:

But I'm a bit surprised that it will have an english standalone release, always thought it was going to be exclusive to this one french store.

I'm almost positive it will remain drama-free. And there will never be any official comments on any of the lingering mysteries. Ever.

Are these clothes officially licensed? Because they misspelled Noctis everywhere, even on the shirts themselves and it would surprise me if Roen is fine with the design of Noctis shirt being used by another clothing brand.
Also it's weird to see the FNC logo on a FFXV product.

They're not, it's just some random Chinese website.

After looking back again, i reaaaaally don't believe we saw the whole entireity of the Titan boss even with the recent Polygon video (which cuts off from showing the rest of chapter 4 either way)

Case in point:

Jump Festa 2015:

E3 2016 screen after finishing the battle:

Why compare these two? Look no further at the Titan's half arms, his left more so, which is missing:

Reason for it being missing? Well, fast foward to the Polygon video:

And then....

20161024_205846.png

Same same left arm (and right) is missing in both images of the Titan standing up/landing his right foot on Noctis.

Plus, if you compare both images here:

20161024_210141.jpg

The Titans model on the top E3 2016 pic looks quite more refined/closer to the final game's Titan model than the bottom JF 2015, despite both sharing very similar position in battle.

Even the background from E3 2016 seemingly matches the same area where beginning fighting him for the first time.

Then if you look here from TGS 2016's trailer:

20161024_205920.png

You'll see that the same area didn't look like that from what was shown in the Polygon footage, heavily implying/confirming that it is the after-battle.

There is also this little set-piece from JF 2015 that wasn't shown (yet) in the recent footage:

20161024_210031.png
20161024_221753.png

(Note that while this one shows his left arm before its gone its possible it could be related to Noct halving it similarly like the right one, theoretically speaking)

Which is why i believe a second phase involving the Titan's full body as a boss is still quite heavily possible. Especially when we know for a fact Tabata stated we only saw 30% of the whole fight.
